The services originally known under the Thomson Reuters Pricing & Reference Data umbrella were part of Thomson Reuters' Financial & Risk business. In 2018, this division was spun off into a new company named Refinitiv, with a majority stake sold to a consortium led by Blackstone Group. Subsequently, in 2021, the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) completed its acquisition of Refinitiv. Today, these services form a core part of LSEG's Data & Analytics division, providing critical real-time and non-real-time data, including pricing, reference data, historical data, and analytics across all major asset classes to a global client base of financial professionals.
