Founded in 2009 in the Netherlands, Think ETFs was one of the first providers of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) in the country. The company focused on creating accessible, transparent, and low-cost investment products for the European market. In 2017, Think ETFs was acquired by the U.S.-based global investment manager VanEck to expand its UCITS ETF platform and presence in Europe. The original "Think" branded ETFs have since been rebranded as VanEck ETFs.
