Founded in 1890, Suffolk County National Bank (SCNB) was a full-service community bank headquartered in Riverhead, New York. For over 125 years, it focused on providing a range of banking and financial services to individuals, professionals, and businesses across Long Island. In 2017, Suffolk County National Bank was acquired by People's United Financial, Inc., and its branches were rebranded as People's United Bank. Subsequently, in 2022, People's United Bank was acquired by M&T Bank, and all remaining branches and operations were converted to the M&T Bank brand.
