The Small & Medium Enterprises Development Corporation (SMEDCO) is a parastatal under the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development in Zimbabwe. Established through the Small and Medium Enterprises Act [Chapter 24:12], its primary mandate is to foster the sustainable growth of the MSME sector. SMEDCO achieves this by providing affordable and accessible financing (loans), business infrastructure (workspaces), mentorship, and critical business development services, including training and advisory, to entrepreneurs and businesses across Zimbabwe.
