Sociedad de Sistemas, S.A.U. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME), the operator of all stock markets and financial systems in Spain, which is now part of the Swiss financial infrastructure operator SIX Group. Founded to provide the technological backbone for the Spanish markets, the company's core mission is the design, development, implementation, and management of the platforms and systems that support trading, clearing, settlement, and information dissemination. Its most notable product is the SIBE (Sistema de Interconexión Bursátil Español) platform, the electronic trading system for the Spanish equity market. Beyond serving the BME exchanges, the company also offers its technology and consulting services to other financial institutions internationally.
