Founded in 1963, Seacoast Mental Health Center (SMHC) is one of ten state-designated community mental health centers in New Hampshire. As a private, non-profit organization, its mission is to provide a broad and integrated range of high-quality mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. SMHC is committed to serving all individuals in its catchment area, regardless of their ability to pay, and works to improve the quality of life for those experiencing mental illness and emotional distress.
