Prototron is an early-stage venture fund founded in 2012 by Swedbank, Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol, and Tallinn University of Technology. Its mission is to support and finance promising technology-based startups, particularly in the green-tech, med-tech, and industrial tech sectors. The fund provides equity-free grants and a comprehensive incubation program, including legal advice, mentorship, and marketing support, to help teams build their first functional prototype (MVP) and accelerate their journey from idea to market.
