Established in 1988, Poutama Trust is the first Māori Economic Development Agency in Aotearoa (New Zealand). As an independent charitable trust, its mission is to create a culture of Māori business excellence. Poutama actively supports and resources Māori businesses by providing a range of services including business advice, mentorship, facilitating collaborations, and enabling access to capital and global networks. The trust focuses on sustainable development and empowering Māori entrepreneurs to succeed both domestically and internationally.
