Founded in 1997, the group was formed by banks that chose to remain independent following the consolidation of the cooperative banking sector. The group's structure includes member POP Banks, the central credit institution Bonum Bank Plc, POP Mortgage Bank Plc, and the central institution POP Pankkikeskus osk, which supports the member banks.
