Payza
Information by Research Trustfinance
Originally founded as AlertPay in 2004, the company rebranded to Payza in 2012. It functioned as an online payment gateway and e-wallet service, similar to PayPal, allowing users to load funds via bank transfers or credit cards to send money globally, pay for goods, and receive payments. In its later years, it also integrated cryptocurrency services. The company's operations were abruptly halted in March 2018 when it was shut down by the U.S. Department of Justice as part of an investigation into a massive international money laundering operation.
