Bank Otkritie Financial Corporation is one of Russia's largest full-service commercial banks. It has a history formed through the consolidation of several financial institutions, including Nomos-Bank. In 2017, the bank was bailed out by the Central Bank of Russia, becoming state-owned. It operates as a universal bank, offering comprehensive services to corporate and retail clients, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and private banking (wealth management) customers. In December 2022, the Central Bank of Russia sold 100% of Otkritie Bank's shares to VTB Bank, and it is currently in the process of being integrated into the VTB Group.
