Onix Capital
Information by Research Trustfinance
Onix Capital operated primarily out of Brazil, soliciting public investments with promises of exceptionally high and often fixed daily returns, allegedly generated from forex and cryptocurrency trading. The company, led by figures such as Otto Spork, attracted a significant number of investors before facing regulatory scrutiny. In 2019, Brazil's Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) issued a "Stop Order" against the company for making irregular public offerings of collective investment contracts without the required authorization. Following regulatory action and failure to pay its investors, the company collapsed and is now defunct, being widely recognized as a fraudulent Ponzi scheme.
