Founded in 1990, OneGuard Home Warranties established itself as a home warranty provider primarily serving Arizona, Nevada, and Texas. The company offered service contracts to homeowners to cover the costs of repairing or replacing major home systems and appliances. In August 2016, OneGuard was acquired by American Home Shield (AHS), a business unit of Frontdoor, Inc., and a leading provider of home warranties in the United States. Since the acquisition, OneGuard has been integrated into AHS's operations, with its brand and services now managed under the American Home Shield umbrella.
