Created in 1989 by the Ohio General Assembly, the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority is a state agency operating under the Ohio Department of Higher Education. Its primary mission is to help families save for higher education in a tax-advantaged way through Ohio's 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage. The program provides a variety of investment options, including age-based portfolios, static portfolios, and individual fund choices, allowing account owners to tailor their savings strategy to their financial goals and risk tolerance.
