National E-Repository Limited (NEML), incorporated in 2017, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL). Regulated by the Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA), NEML's mission is to establish a unified national market for commodities. It achieves this by providing a state-of-the-art, secure, and centralized platform for issuing, holding, and transferring electronic Negotiable Warehouse Receipts (eNWRs), thereby enhancing transparency, liquidity, and financing options for farmers, traders, and financial institutions in the agricultural ecosystem.
