It quickly became known for its city-centric reporting, investigative journalism, and coverage of local news, entertainment, and lifestyle. In December 2020, the parent company, Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd. (BCCL), ceased the print edition of Mumbai Mirror due to economic challenges exacerbated by the pandemic. The brand continues to operate as a digital-only entity, publishing news and articles on its website.
