MFIN is the primary representative body and Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) for Non-Banking Financial Company - Microfinance Institutions (NBFC-MFIs) in India, recognized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Established in 2009, its mission is to foster a robust, responsible, and client-centric microfinance sector. MFIN works towards financial inclusion by ensuring its members adhere to a strict code of conduct, promoting transparency, and engaging with regulators, government, and other stakeholders to shape policy and best practices for the industry.
