Founded in 2001, the Pakistan Microfinance Network (PMN) is the primary association for microfinance providers in Pakistan. Its core mission is to foster a supportive ecosystem for the microfinance sector to enhance financial inclusion for the poor. PMN achieves this through policy advocacy with regulators, knowledge management via research and publications, and capacity-building initiatives for its member organizations. The network represents a diverse membership that includes Microfinance Banks (MFBs), Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), Rural Support Programmes (RSPs), and other stakeholders.
