The Loughborough Finance & Investment Society (LSFIS) is one of the largest and most active societies at Loughborough University. Its primary mission is to bridge the gap between academic studies and the professional world of finance for students from all degree disciplines. The society provides educational resources, hosts guest speaker events with industry leaders, runs practical workshops on financial modeling and trading, and facilitates networking opportunities with top firms. It also manages a student-run virtual investment fund to give members hands-on experience in portfolio management and analysis.
