Long Game
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 2015 by Lindsay Holden, Long Game was a fintech company that leveraged principles of behavioral economics and prize-linked savings to encourage users, particularly millennials, to build their savings habits. The app allowed users to play games and enter drawings for cash prizes by saving money in an FDIC-insured account. The company partnered with various banks to hold customer deposits. In May 2022, Long Game was acquired by Truist Financial Corporation. However, Truist subsequently decided to shut down the Long Game app and service, with the closure completed in 2023.
