Formerly known as Lawrence Memorial Hospital Employees Federal Credit Union, the institution rebranded to LM Federal Credit Union to better reflect its expanded field of membership. Chartered in 1967, its original mission was to serve the employees of Lawrence Memorial Hospital. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, its purpose is to provide its members with favorable rates for savings and loans, operating for their benefit rather than for profit. The credit union offers a range of standard banking services, including savings and checking accounts, consumer loans, and credit cards, to its eligible members.
