The Kawartha Lakes Community Futures Development Corporation (KLCFDC) is a community-based, not-for-profit organization funded by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). Its mission is to foster economic growth and job creation by providing local businesses with access to capital, strategic business counselling, and community economic development initiatives. KLCFDC also operates LAUNCH Kawartha, an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre that offers specialized programs and resources to support startups and innovative ventures within the region.
