Keystart
Information by Research TrustFinance
Established in 1989 by the Government of Western Australia, Keystart is a transitional lender designed to help people enter the property market who may not meet the deposit requirements of mainstream lenders. Its primary mission is to make the dream of homeownership a reality for more Western Australians by offering home loans with low deposits, no lender's mortgage insurance (LMI), and no ongoing monthly account-keeping fees. Once a customer has built sufficient equity in their home, Keystart encourages them to refinance with a traditional lender, thereby freeing up funds to help the next homebuyer.
