Founded in 1996 by Roshaneh Zafar, Kashf Foundation was the first specialized microfinance institution (MFI) in Pakistan to target women exclusively. Its mission is to alleviate poverty by providing a suite of transparent and client-centric financial services, including micro-loans, insurance, and business development training. By enabling women to launch and expand small businesses, the foundation aims to enhance their economic role, foster financial independence, and improve the overall well-being of their families and communities.
