Established in 1975, the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is a multilateral development bank (MDB) headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Its primary mission is to foster economic development and social progress in its 57 member countries. The IsDB finances development projects by providing Shari'ah-compliant financing, including loans, grants, and technical assistance for projects in sectors like infrastructure, agriculture, health, and education.
