The Hrvatska Narodna Banka (CNB) is the central bank of the Republic of Croatia, established by the Constitution. Its primary objective is to maintain price stability and the stability of the overall financial system. Since Croatia's accession to the Eurozone on 1 January 2023, the CNB has been an integral part of the Eurosystem. Its core tasks include implementing the common monetary and foreign exchange policy of the Eurosystem, managing the international reserves of the Republic of Croatia, supervising credit institutions, managing the payment system, and issuing euro banknotes and coins.
