Originally chartered in 1963 to serve the employees of St. John’s Hospital, Health Care Family Credit Union (HCFCU) has since expanded its field of membership to include a broader community of healthcare professionals. As a not-for-profit financial institution, its mission is to provide its members with affordable financial services, including savings and checking accounts, various types of loans (auto, mortgage, personal), and credit cards. Unlike a bank, HCFCU is owned and operated by its members, with earnings returned to them in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees.
