Founded in 1834, Friends First Life Assurance Company was one of Ireland's oldest and most established life assurance providers. The company offered a wide range of financial products, including life insurance, income protection, pensions, savings, and investments to individuals and corporate clients. In 2018, Friends First was acquired by Aviva Group and has since been fully integrated into its Irish entity, Aviva Life & Pensions Ireland DAC. All former Friends First policies and operations are now managed under the Aviva brand.
