Information by Research TrustFinance
Established in 1965 as the NZ Finance Houses Association, the Financial Services Federation (FSF) is the primary industry association for non-bank financial institutions in New Zealand. Its mission is to champion and protect the non-bank sector, which provides competition and choice in the country's financial services landscape. The FSF achieves this through advocacy with government and regulators, setting standards and a Code of Conduct for its members, providing education and training, and promoting the industry's contributions to the economy.
