The Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) was formed on 1 April 2023 following the merger of two of Australia's leading financial advice associations: the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) and the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA). As the largest professional body for financial advisers in the country, the FAAA's mission is to advocate for the profession, set high professional and ethical standards for its members, and provide education and support to ensure Australians have access to high-quality financial advice.
