Founded in 2003, FIG Partners established itself as a leading investment banking and research firm dedicated exclusively to the U.S. community bank sector. The firm provided a range of services including mergers and acquisitions advisory, capital markets services, institutional sales and trading, and equity research. In 2019, FIG Partners was acquired by Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a full-service financial services firm. The FIG Partners team was integrated into Janney to form its Financial Institutions Group (FIG), continuing its mission to serve community banks with an expanded platform and resources.
