Launched in 2019, FC4S Lagos is part of the International Network of Financial Centres for Sustainability (FC4S Network), convened by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). It was co-founded by FMDQ Group and Access Bank Plc in collaboration with other key stakeholders in the Nigerian financial market. The organisation's mission is to position Lagos as a leading sustainable finance hub in Africa by providing a platform for collaboration, advocacy, and market development to drive the flow of capital towards green and sustainable projects.
