Established in 2010 and licensed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Equifax India operates as a full-service credit bureau. Its primary business involves collecting and consolidating credit-related data on individuals and businesses from its member institutions (like banks and NBFCs) to create credit reports and scores. These products are then used by lenders to make informed credit-granting decisions and by consumers to manage their credit health.
