Consumers Credit Union
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 1930, Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution. Its mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of its members by providing a comprehensive suite of financial products, including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, and business banking services. Unlike traditional banks, CCU is owned by its members, and profits are returned to them in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings yields, and fewer fees. The credit union has grown significantly and now serves a large membership base primarily in Illinois, but membership is open nationwide.
