Part of the pan-African COFINA Group, Compagnie Financière du Congo SA (COFINA RDC) was established in 2018. It operates as a "mesofinance" institution, positioning itself between microfinance and traditional banking to address the financing needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs often excluded by the conventional banking system. Its mission is to provide accessible and tailored financial products, including credit, savings, and transaction services, to foster entrepreneurial growth and economic development in the DRC.
