Originally chartered in 1971 to serve employees of the Woburn Public School system, Common Trust Federal Credit Union has since expanded its field of membership. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. The credit union's mission is to provide affordable financial services, encourage thrift, and offer loans at fair and reasonable rates, returning profits to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and improved services.
