Coast Capital Savings is Canada's largest credit union by membership. Founded in British Columbia in the 1940s through the merger of various local credit unions, it has grown to become a significant financial institution focused on member-ownership and community involvement. In 2018, it became the first B.C. credit union to obtain a federal charter, allowing it to expand its services across Canada.
