Chartered in 1933 to serve employees of the Continental Oil Company, Cherokee Strip Credit Union became community-chartered in 2002. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to provide a range of affordable financial services, including savings, checking, loans, and other banking products, to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school within its designated field of membership.
