Carroll Bancorp, Inc. was incorporated in 1990 and served as the parent holding company for Carroll County Bank and Trust Company. The bank focused on providing a full range of commercial and retail banking services to individuals, businesses, and local government agencies primarily within Carroll County, Maryland. On December 1, 2021, Carroll Bancorp, Inc. was acquired by and merged with Farmers and Merchants Bancorp, Inc. Consequently, its subsidiary bank now operates as Carroll Community Bank, a division of Farmers and Merchants Bank (FMB), continuing its mission of community-focused banking under the new ownership.
