Founded in 2009 by students from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Capitant vzw has grown to become the largest student organization for finance and investment in Belgium. As a non-profit entity ("vereniging zonder winstoogmerk"), its core mission is to connect ambitious students with the financial industry. It achieves this by organizing a wide range of activities, including lectures from industry professionals, workshops, investment competitions, networking events, and company visits. The organization is run entirely by students for students, providing a practical platform for learning and career development beyond the standard academic curriculum.
