Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create opportunities for low- and moderate-income individuals and families in the Greater Washington D.C. Area to build financial security, savings, and wealth for the future. Founded to address the wealth inequality gap, CAAB provides a range of programs including financial education and coaching, matched savings accounts (Individual Development Accounts - IDAs) for goals like education or homeownership, and free tax preparation services through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
