Founded in 1917, the California Association of Collectors, Inc. (CAC) is a trade association representing third-party collection agencies, creditors, asset buyers, attorneys, and vendor associates. As the state unit of ACA International, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, CAC's mission is to promote, protect, and enhance the credit and collection industry in California. The association provides its members with educational programs, legislative and regulatory advocacy, and a platform for professional networking and development to ensure compliance and ethical standards.
