Business Impact NW is a non-profit organization focused on economic development in the Pacific Northwest. As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, its mission is to foster the success of historically under-served entrepreneurs, including women, people of color, veterans, immigrants, refugees, and LGBTQ+ individuals. The organization provides access to capital through various loan programs (such as SBA microloans and community advantage loans), offers comprehensive business coaching and training, and runs specialized programs like the Washington Women's Business Center (WWBC) and the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC). Its history dates back to the merger of two established non-profits, Community Capital Development and Washington CASH, to create a more comprehensive support system for small businesses.
