BlockEQ was a Toronto-based financial technology company focused on the Stellar blockchain ecosystem. Its flagship product was a secure, non-custodial wallet for iOS that allowed users to manage Stellar-based assets and trade directly on Stellar's native decentralized exchange (DEX). The company's mission was to provide a user-friendly and secure gateway to the Stellar network. In December 2018, BlockEQ was acquired by the major Canadian cryptocurrency exchange Coinsquare, and its team and technology were integrated into Coinsquare's operations.
