Black Ridge Oil & Gas, Inc. was a publicly-traded exploration and production company focused on acquiring and developing oil and natural gas assets in the United States. Its primary operations were concentrated in the core of the Williston Basin in North Dakota and Montana. The company aimed to create shareholder value through the development of its drilling inventory. In 2019, Black Ridge completed a significant merger and was rebranded as Montage Resources Corporation (formerly NYSE: MR). In November 2020, Montage Resources was acquired by Southwestern Energy Company (NYSE: SWN), and its assets were integrated into Southwestern's operations.
