Beehive Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution that was originally established in 1960 to serve the employees of the Idaho National Laboratory. It has since expanded its field of membership. The credit union's mission is to improve the financial well-being of its members and build a stronger community. As a cooperative, it returns profits to its members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees compared to traditional for-profit banks.
