Ballymena Causeway Credit Union was formed in 2022 through the merger of Ballymena Credit Union (est. 1968) and Causeway Credit Union (est. 1969). As a member-owned financial cooperative, its mission is to provide accessible, ethical, and not-for-profit financial services to individuals who live or work within its defined "common bond" area. The credit union focuses on community well-being by encouraging saving, providing affordable credit, and offering a range of financial products tailored to its members' needs.
