Badgerland Financial was a customer-owned financial cooperative and part of the national Farm Credit System. It provided loans, leases, crop insurance, and other financial services to agricultural producers and rural residents in southern Wisconsin. On July 1, 2017, Badgerland Financial merged with AgStar Financial Services and 1st Farm Credit Services to form a new entity, Compeer Financial. Compeer Financial continues the mission of its predecessors, serving agriculture and rural communities across parts of Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin with a full range of financial products and services.
