Founded in 1996, the Association of Women in Finance (AWF) is a non-profit organization based in Vancouver, Canada. Its mission is to connect, empower, and advance women in finance through a variety of programs and initiatives. The AWF provides a platform for networking, mentorship, and professional development, hosting events and offering scholarships to support the next generation of female leaders in the financial sector. The organization is primarily run by a volunteer board of directors and committees comprised of professionals from across the finance industry.
