Established in 1981, the Association of Development Finance Institutions of Malaysia (ADFIM) serves as the national-level umbrella organization for Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) in Malaysia, most of which are owned by the Malaysian Government. Its core mission is to support the nation’s socio-economic development by enhancing the capabilities of its member DFIs. ADFIM achieves this by promoting cooperation, facilitating training and development programs, representing the collective interests of its members to the government and other stakeholders, and serving as a central hub for information and best practices within the development finance sector.
